Membership Dues Structure

(Effective May 2010)

I. ACTIVE MEMBERS:

Payable annually or quarterly, in U. S. Funds (drawn on U.S. Banks).

A. Both within the Continental limits of the United States and outside the  U.S. Continental limits of the United States.

$250. per million dollars of sales of book manufacturing *, to the U.S. book markets, to the nearest million.

Minimum $1,500
Maximum $12,500

B. International companies not doing any business with the U.S. book markets.

$1,500

II. ASSOCIATE MEMBERS:

Payable annually, in U. S. Funds.

A. Within the continental limits of the United States.

$100. per million dollars of sales of book manufacturing *, to the U.S. book markets, to the nearest million.

Minimum $2,500
Maximum $5,000

B. Outside the Continental limits of the United States.

$1,000

C. Separate operating divisions or wholly-owned subsidiaries (in addition to II, A, above.)

$600

 * Sales should be included for all book market related services (e.g. pre-press, digital archiving, printing,binding, fulfillment & distribution, etc.) to the U.S. book markets.  

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Active Member

Any person, firm, partnership or corporation, both within the Continental limits of the United States and outside the Continental limits of the United States, which is directly engaged in the manufacture (pre-press, digital archiving, printing, binding, fulfillment & distribution, etc.) of books, shall be eligible to become an Active Member.

Associate Member

Any person, firm, partnership, or operating unit within a corporate group engaged in the design, manufacture or distribution of machinery or  supplies, or which provides services for the manufacture of books. Additionally, any person, firm, partnership, or operating unit within a corporate group which provides consulting and advisory services to the manufacturers of books shall be eligible to be an Associate Member.
