ACTS is organized to improve and advance American education through close cooperation and mutual assistance between the National Association of State Textbook Administrators (NASTA), the Association of American Publishers (AAP) and the Book Manufacturers’ Institute, Inc. (BMI) in setting manufacturing standards and specifications for textbooks, and other educational materials.
